(COPS Office) April 2015 – December 30, 2023 (Retired) Program Manager, COPS Records Information Management (RIM) KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Improved efficiency and enhanced customer experience in collaboration with IT leadership, managing and implementing the Policy Center and Records Information Management internal projects.
• Collaborated with Project Management and Operational Support groups to develop, implement and maintain new business processes, policies, and objectives, resulting in 1 new Process Improvement Map for retiring and destruction of COPS Federal Records, 3 new policies requiring staff to ensure records meet the specific requirements for retirement and destruction. By implementing this policy, COPS decreased records warehouse space by 72% before the mandated National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Federal Electronic Records Policy.
• Managed the Federal Records services for 85 staff members to prepare almost18,000 law enforcement grants records to meet electronic data requirements, per the NARA including changes to service delivery, customer support processes, all technical records and all COPS Federal Records.

(OIG) Investigators and Auditors Training; Providing semiannual training for 85 staff members.
• Served as the analyst for monitoring oversight and compliance to OIG Offices in Dallas, TX; Philadelphia, PA; Denver, CO; and, Chicago, IL for over $45M in Federal Awards.
• Conducted Grants Management Training (externally and internally) serving as a subject matter expert in the areas of grants monitoring and audit liaison functions to 38 grant program specialists, 5 management analysts, and 8 program analysts.
• Closed aged audit report with 24 recommendations resulting in 4-year grant restriction for $6.4M compliance violations. This resulted in the precedent setting General Compliance Bar Policy (currently “Restricted Grantee Policy”)
