Main Function: Responsible for strategizing KPIs and SLAs of the department by increasing efficiency, developing and maintaining standards, streamlining of processes, improving quality of service, and recommending areas for improvement of operations. Provide direction and guidance to direct reports to ensure high standards of process execution, contributing to the success of the operations and the organization. In charge of acquiring new subcon trucks, Carriers such as shipping lines, Airlines and Roro services. Collaborates with commercials and Tender & Pricing team in preparation on the costings based on customer requirements.
I. SKILLS:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Handles own fleet both electric vehicle and prime movers
Acquiring subcon truckers for all types of trucks such as closed vans, Reefer trucks and trucks with equipment like tail lift and carriers
Acquiring new partners with shipping lines and Airlines
Acquiring subcon partners for Roro services for VisMin deliveries
Collaborate with commercials and Tender & pricing team to assist in preparation of the costings based on customer requirements
To provide T&P team on the cost components based on the customer request or requirements
To provide best cost to the customers be able to meet the customer financial target
Review and evaluate partners such as subcon truckers and shipping lines, airlines
Regular meeting with subcon partners
Oversee and monitor target load and productivity of trucks, ageing shipments and closing of exemptions.
Oversee planning of correct resources such as trucks, drivers and personnel to prevent additional cost.
Planning on correct space of cross dock operations to prevent additional cost on space capacity.
Oversee End to End dashboards, SLA dashboards, and corresponding corrective actions on the misses.
Oversee planned target load per trucks are executed.
Oversee checking of pending unreturned PODs
Oversee delivered packages and monitor sending of PODs
Oversee compliance of provincial operations on timely sending of the PODs
Oversee checking of daily inventory and system reconciliation.
Oversee regular sending of IR reporting, on time IR submission.
Oversee checking and reconciliation of all problematic shipments Other duties & responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring all SOPS of operations are always complied.
Responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy of POD details & on time submission per agreed timeline/ lead time.
Ensure all sub-con & client monthly KPI are being discussed & review with corresponding action plans & target completion date.
Responsible for preparing & submitting reports & feedback as required by management & clients/s.
Always observe and follow all company policies, especially COC (Code of Conduct) and QSHE requirements.
Reports incidents and hazards relevant to its working instructions.
Awareness on responsibilities related to company and QSHE policies. Providing regular reporting to management as directed.
Represents the company at meetings, business reviews and seminars as maybe assigned.
