PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Reviews and updates collected data for adequacy and completeness to determine the type of action to be taken.

Determines the most appropriate manner of processing Local and Interstate Cases.

Provide the correct actions for parent location, enforcement and verification of SSN and addresses as well as phone numbers.

Review/refer pertinent documentation to the Legal Dept. as well as maintain the accuracy of all legal document and records for the DC Superior Court.

Checking the DC-DOC/Federal Bureau of Prison along with Vine link to see if the Non-Custodial Parent has been or is incarcerated.

Input all data into the DCCSES (Child support system).

Maintain and examine all customer transactions with name changes, addresses, phone numbers, ssn as well as scheduling for appointments.

Processes and mail out Employment Verification Letters/USPS Letters.

Provide a variety of administrative and clerical functions that supports the supervisor for the complete management of the program.

Receive and field telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate specialists or units. Distribute all incoming mail.

Review Court Orders and other documents or files when needed from the Court View Application.

Provide detailed records of cases assigned to various specialists for reports.

Check DCCSES Legacy for all parties if not found than review/create a new case.

Send notification letter that petition was received and is being assigned to worker.

Research and resolved complaints and other inquiries to satisfy
