(AGOL), BricsCAD and Google Earth).
Tillman Fiber Company (USA):
• Performed Quality Control (QC) on fiber network designs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strict compliance with client standards and project guidelines.
• Conducted detailed design validation and quality checks, reducing errors prior to submission and improving deliverable approval rates
• Prepared end-to-end fiber network designs, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project standards.
• Single design contains around 90 home-passes from one FDH. Named all equipment and fiber cables post- drafting.
• Executed equipment naming, cable labeling, and documentation post-design to align with client naming conventions and standards.
• Developed and delivered key project outputs including: o ABF (As-Built Fiber) / Splicing Plans
o Bill of Materials (BOM)
o Construction Drawings (CX DWG)
o Link Loss Calculations for network performance validation Charters Communication (USA):
• Single design contains around 250 home passes with OLT, splitters (1:2/1:32/1:64), splice enclosures, OTEs and fiber cables.
• Initially underground or aerial strand drafting is done with the help of walkout kmz which was provided by field team.
• Walkout kmz contains the location of the OLT and splitters.
• Preplan is prepared over a google earth to identify which address will be fed from which splitter/OTEs.
• Once drafting has been completed, then naming will be done to every equipment and fiber cable.
• Following naming, Circuit and subcircuit will be added at OLT location and then splicing will be done. Splice test is preformed to check whether the trace is going back to hub from OLT.
• When the trace is going back to the HUB then the deliverables can be prepared.
• In deliverables there are several files that will be exported from Magellan like as PDFs before, After, National Grid and overview pdf.
• HAF sheet is also exported which contains address details and its connectivity details.
• MOP report is prepared over excel which shows the trace details towards HUB(Details about DWDM, Splitters, OLT connectivity, link losses, HUB ports and Used Fibers).
• EPON Calculator is prepared in excel format to identify optical splitter losses and output getting a customer end.
• KMZ and splice report are exported as well from Magellan as a part of deliverables.
• Once all deliverables have been completed it is sent for Quality checking and if no errors then that deliverables pack will be sent out to client.
