2/12 – 12/25 ConocoPhillips

Title: IT ERP Sr. Analyst

I work as part of a team developing and supporting WORKDAY Integrations. This includes HR / Payroll and benefits. Responsible for integration updates, production support, annual password maintenance and keeping future schedule processes running on time. The goal was to have the WORKDAY Integrations replace the interfaces and their processes that were being executed in SAP

Another area of responsibility is supporting our HCM interfaces from WORKDAY to our cloud-based database, SNOWFLAKE. Specific tasks include the conversion of data from our existing data warehouse on Oracle to SNOWFLAKE, working with our Data Analytics Team to modify SQL for building views, altering columns within tables and updating data within these tables.

In my prior position I helped support the SAP ERP system and all of the associated interfaces. A key area of responsibility was BSI. I was in charge of system upgrades, the installation of tax bulletins (TUB) and software changes via CYCLIC bulletins.

Another key area of responsibility was the daily support of the HR data warehouse which resides on Oracle Databases. This included interfaces from SAP to Oracle, building new tables, modifying existing UNIX scripts that load the data to the tables, and working with the product owner to ensure the security of the data.

Other responsibilities include Disaster Recovery, SAP FIT Testing, Oracle database upgrades, server upgrades, Annual Reporting (required by law), and working with our auditor, Ernst & Young on specific annual auditing tasks.

9/09 – 01/12 General Dynamics

Title: Software Consultant

As a consultant to a major healthcare software development firm, I participate as part of a team in developing and maintaining software that fulfills the requirements of our client “CMS” (Center for Medicaid / Medicare Services). The specific projects are “COB” and “RDS”. One is a claims processing system and the other is a payment system. The programs are developed on a mainframe platform and are written in COBOLII / SQL/DB2 and CICS. The data is stored and subsequently retrieved from a DB2 database, and VSAM files. Software tools utilized include online/batch FILEAID, SPUFI, ENDEVOR, NDM, WORD, and EXCEL. Debugging and testing tools utilized include XPEDITER and ABEND-AID. SDLC methodology utilized is CMMI.

4/06 – 8/09 ConocoPhillips

Title: Software Consultant

I work as part of a team dedicated to providing design, development, and technical support for large scale mainframe systems. These systems process HR, Benefit, and financial data. Responsibilities include the design, coding and testing of batch and online programs written in COBOL II, COBOL 370, and SQL. These programs run under the MVS operating system using CICS and accessing the DB2 database. Extensive experience in requirements gathering, the writing of program specifications, program development, testing, implementation, and the subsequent documentation of the system processes and data streams. Developed and supported interfaces that transferred data to and from software vendors such as Hewitt Corporation, Aetna, and SAP. Software tools utilized include online/batch FILEAID, QMF, SPUFI, WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, and Microsoft Access. Debugging and testing tools utilized include XPEDITER and Dump Master.

6/04 – 03/06 VIPS, Inc

Title: Software Contractor / Programmer Analyst

As a contractor to a major healthcare software development firm, I helped create program specifications and develop code in order to meet the requirements of “CMS” (Center for Medicaid / Medicare Services). The programs were developed in COBOLII / SQL. They retrieved data from DB2 tables and subsequently sent the data to other systems using IBM’s middleware product called MQSERIES. Software tools utilized include online/batch FILEAID, QMF, SPUFI, ENDEVOR, WORD, and EXCEL. Debugging and testing tools utilized include XPEDITER and ABEND-AID.

3/01 – 3/04 Phillips Petroleum Company

Title: HR Software Consultant

I work as part of a team responsible for providing technical support for the Tesseract HRMS system. These applications include personnel, payroll, and benefits. Responsibilities include the design, coding and testing of batch and online programs written in COBOL II/DB2/SQL and executing in an IBM MVS environment. Tasks include the modification and testing of user exit programs, the development of programs that extract data from other systems in order to load to the HRMS system and the loading and modification of table data. Created HR data extracts by utilizing the Data Extractor (Report Path) Utility and software tools such as online/batch FILEAID and EXCEL. Helped support interfaces that transferred data to and from systems such as PEOPLESOFT and SAP. Debugging and testing tools utilized include XPEDITER and Dump Master.

Title: Senior Consultant

I work as an employee of the industry leader in providing technical and functional solutions to Fortune 100 companies who utilize the Tesseract HRMS system. As a consultant, I work individually, or as part of a team in designing and developing business solutions to meet corporate goals. Responsibilities include the design, coding, and testing of batch and online programs written in COBOL/COBOL II/ DB2/SQL, and ASSEMBLER. These executed in an IBM mainframe environment. I also worked as part of a team installing upgrades to the software. The application of this code was spread across multiple platforms such as CICS/DB2, and VSAM.

to the data dictionary. All programs were written in COBOL using the TSO/ISPF editor,

and implemented under OS/MVS XA using CICS/VSAM. Debugging and testing tools

utilized include XPEDITER, and FILEAID.
