Professional Experience

Mechanical Technician GZI Kenya Ltd. August 1st 2025- Present. At GZI Kenya, I work in the production and operations department. I’m tasked to;

• Repair and maintenance of machines and equipments such as Can bodymakers, Cupper and the conveyor belts.

• Construction of water treatment plant; the installation of water and chemical tanks, and the electrical structures.

• Operation of machines such as the bodymakers, the cupper, the washer and the decorater. Mechanical Technician (Intern) SR Afro Chicks & Breeders Ltd August 18th 2024- Jan 9th 2025.

• At SR Afro Chicks and Breeders, I was stationed at the Mechanical Maintenance department.

• I was tasked to repair, service, and replace broken parts of the Egg System, Conveyor Belts, Gears, and Bearings in different Chick Sheds.

• In Egg System maintenance, I dealt with fixing white-sticks chains, replacing faulty bearings, stitching broken egg belts, and replacing old ones together with their pressure rollers.

• In the Manure removal system, I was involved in welding broken manure belts using an injection molding machine, replacing broken gears and chains, and replacing worn-out pressure rollers.

• Responsible for the maintenance of motors, pneumatic systems, and PLC systems.

• As an intern, I was stationed at the firm’s modern assembly line, assembling devices such as laptops, phones, and census kits.

• Troubleshooting faulty devices; repairing broken components such as LCD screens, Keyboards, Power supply, and replacing faulty motherboards and Rams.

• Providing after-sale services in institutions supplied with the devices in form of replacement of faulty or damaged devices across the country.
