Objective:

My objective is to achieve employment within your company. If employed, I will strive to complete the tasks ahead of me in a timely and correct manner. In my opinion, my work experience has taught me to be great with people as well as being skilled in a lot of different environments. If in doubt, I do not hesitate to ask for proper instruction on the task that I am unsure of. I believe myself to be very quick to teach and very open to new experiences and knowledge. I am not a stranger to manual labour and am confident I can do anything I am asked or told to do.

Experience:

Bread Barons Ltd. Sept 2021- Current

-Route Manager

-Manage the inventories of bread and similar products at a corporate retail and private level. This includes understanding within certain boundaries of stale percentages, and working to understand and grow sales while staying within those bounds. Most products have a limited shelf life, this inspires “on the fly” adjustments and compromises to the work load/flow.

-This also includes driving a class 5 box truck to individual calls and delivering, invoicing, and building relationships within the business. Communication and collaborative efforts between bakery/store managers are vital to cultivate growth.

-Another skill that is needed is merchandising certain stores; this came with understanding shelf

“plannos/mods” that were always shifting in order to match sales. Aswell as learning the busy areas to rotate old stock to, in order to ensure a fresh cycle of products is always available.

-As a Sales/Route Manager, you’re also assigned merchandisers for larger stores that can’t be completed by the Manager. Clear, concise, constructive communication is always key to build a team atmosphere. I always make sure to convey that we can have fun while working, as long as were working!

TMT Contracting February 2020- Sept 2021

-Owner/ Operator

- As Insulation slowed and my focus on being home became key, I changed directions and am a contracted courier for a couple different people and businesses around the city. It pays the bills but definitely isn't a business I want to be in forever.

TMT Insulation Dec 2018 – February 2020

- Owner/ Operator

- We insulate and vapour barrier interior walls. Most of our contracts were apartment buildings with no less than 50 units per building. Business has slowed down locally and my employees have found other employment on my recommendation. I still do have the odd residential contract that I do myself but I have diverted focus to being home every night.

Prairie Mountain Health Dec 2017- August 2018

-Part time Positions in Dietary

-Casual Cook.

This job has given me knowledge in the area of sanitation to the maximum extent and a very thorough understanding of institutionalized cooking procedures and the medical necessity of certain diets. Boston Pizza Dauphin- July 2017- Dec 2017

-All ends of the kitchen (Cooking, Prep, Order Receiving)

-Server/Bartender

-Delivery Driver

I did all of these jobs simultaneously due to their short handedness with staff. I was declined advancement and found a better opportunity elsewhere. PA Fine Foods and Distributors- October 2014- October 2016

- I worked on the road delivering and stocking convenience store goods

- There would be a salesman that would sell dry goods that we received from a warehouse and delivered along a route

- Our team (2 drivers) would deliver and stock said order. Also, we sell the perishable goods off of the truck.

- I have worked across 3 provinces with this company and gained a lot of sales experience doing so

J and C Stone- February 2012- March 2014

- Cutting and polishing granite and quarts countertops

- Installing and finishing the counter tops

- Hanging sinks and epoxy work

- Fixing damages to existing stone countertops

I have made a point throughout my job history to find a career by having as much know-how on multiple ends. So as to not ever be faced with a challenge or task I cannot complete. I am an outgoing individual with what I think are very good people skills. I am always open to new concepts and will never refuse lessons or criticism. Also, as a teen I helped my parents with renovations yard work and basically anything needed to be done on a decently sized acreage. I have a great understanding on mechanical work such as engine and body work. I have played guitar for 19 years and enjoy music. I also enjoy art and drawing as well.
