This program was started when

Clarkson andd Leigh dissolved

their arrangement with each other for a

combined Ag Program.

Clarkson replaced their shop

program with their own Ag

Education Program which combined Ag

Classes and Industrial

Technology classes. I reorganized

the chaotic shop and

developed a structured complete

Agricultural Education

Program. We developed Animal Science,

Plant Science,

Agribusiness, and rotated three shop classes,

Woodworking/Construction, Metal

Fabrication/Welding and Small

Engines/Machine Management. All these

were originated

with an Introduction to Agriscence

class. We also implemented

a Junior High rotational class for

all 7th and 8th grade students.

Vocational Agricultural Education

August 2015 – June 2020

Leyton Public Schools, Dalton,

Nebraska

I started this program with Junior High

Agricultural Education, Introduction to AFNR,

Animal System, Plant Systems, Agribusiness

Systems, Small Engine Technology and

Leadership Education. During 2017/18 and

2018/19 school years we cut back on Junior

High Ag Ed and Leadership Education; then

was assigned Construction Technology

(Woodworking Skills), Metal and Fabrication,

and Small Engine Technology/Agricultural

Machine Management. This year the school

hired an STS instructor and I have Intro to

AFNR, Plant Systems (Agronomy), Animal

Systems (Livestock Management), Natural

Resource Systems, Food Product and

Processing Systems, Agribusiness Systems.

This is also my third year supervising the

School-to-Work program.
