I am a licensed Architect in California with over 35 years in the AEC industries. I began drafting details for a Structural Engineer part time after school during my junior year of high school. This early exposure structural drafting on projects for many different Architects, styles, uses and types of construction laid the foundation for my career. I was working during the Northridge earthquake, which quickly amplified my building knowledge. I have worked for Architects, Engineers, Developers, Builders, Interior Designers and Geotechnical Engineers. I have experience in high-end custom residential, hillside construction, commercial, High-rise, facades, among others. I have been responsible for project management in both architectural and structural offices providing design coordination between all disciplines. My skills span from drafting and model making to Revit modeling, graphics and physical construction. I have developed both AutoCAD and Revit operating manuals, standards, libraries, and project templates for a few companies. I have been completing CD’s %100 in Revit for over 15 years and am an expert user. I have done General Contractor performing construction and Desing Build with knowledge of materials & products, construction methods, scheduling, logistics, inspections and costing. I also have six years of experience with international work in Africa including working with consultants and suppliers in the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Italy. In 2017 I procured one of the first Leica BLK360 lidar scanners and began developing best practices for scanning on all my projects, mastering Autodesk Recap. Most recently I have completed over 100 SB326 & SB721 inspections throughout Southern California. Currently I have completed CQM certification and am working on Military and Space Force projects.

A true Draftsman, drawings are integral to the work not a means to the end. Sheet size, set-up and layout is planned and details are not inserted with no order. Drafting is constructing. The act of projection is multi dimensional. Details relate to each other, the top view is above, right is right and the “blank” space in between has just as much information.
