Continuous improvement workstation redesign

• Problem: After an overhead light fell and almost hit an associate, I assessed all overhead lights in the clean room and found they can be more secured to the workstations.

• Action: To resecure the overhead lights on the workstation with better bolts and washers.

• Impact: The workstations' overhead lights were secured to the workstations proving associate safety while at the workstations.

Get the offline training line up and running

• Problem: Offline production line is not ready for trainers to train new associates.

• Action: To set up, test and install tools, equipment, aids, and hardware to run like a production environment.

• Impact: Trainers can start training offline production line sooner after missing the deadline. Update MES tablets and install monitoring software

• Problem: Tablets need widows updates for security reasons and monitoring software.

• Action: Test install of monitoring software and when production is down install windows updates and monitoring software on about 150 tablets

• Impact: Tablets are now more secure and MES hardware teams can assess the performance of tablets. Implement a new machine into production environment

• Problem: New machine to slit film and update for more automation

• Action: Help bring in a new machine to test, make software updates to fit our production environment and validate the machine for our use.

• Impact: New machine is more automated/ robust for manufacturing and able to slit new film.
