Workday Inc. is an on-demand (cloud-based) financial management and human capital management software company that puts people at the center of enterprise software and provides a single system for finance and HR. My responsibilities at Workday Inc. include:
• Most recently joined the Capacity Engineering pillar to build optimization and forecasting tools using Python and related frameworks for large-scale data center efficiency and workload forecasting.
• Supported team manager in internal product roadmap and management business review meetings through Workday’s management mentorship program.
• Designed and prototyped a Spring Boot–based REST API to migrate legacy tooling monoliths into microservices; led CI/CD deployment on AWS Kubernetes clusters.
• Developed optimization tools enabling Operations to move customer data efficiently across data centers using mathematical models (COIN-OR) built around JVM, memory, and thread utilization constraints.
• Contributed to the development of an ETL pipeline supporting large-scale data processing and predictive modeling for capacity planning.

Akamai Technologies Inc. the leading provider of cloud services for helping enterprises secure, high-performing user experiences on any device anywhere. My responsibilities at Akamai included:
• Worked on implementing new features and bug fixes on the internal integration workflow tool that performed validations on the various backend and API features of Akamai intelligent platform Cloudlet application. This tool ran customer configurations against Akamai edge servers hosted in a simulated network lab.
• Worked on implementing a reporting portal using the PHP MVC framework and bootstrap JavaScript libraries.
• Created a headless browser-based internal tool for the Akamai Cloudlet application front- end using protractor, grunt and phantomJS.
Amazon Robotics (Previously: Kiva Systems LLC), North Reading, MA Jan 2012 – Jun 2014 Tools Developer
Kiva Systems LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com. Kiva provides an automated warehouse fulfillment solution using autonomous mobile robots and sophisticated control software. Some of my responsibilities and accomplishments at Kiva include:
• One of the founding members of the internal tools team that implemented an in-house tool written in Java to simulate Kiva’s client server application’s backend as a part of the validation workflow. This tool was based off open-source libraries such as Apache ActiveMQ, TestNg etc.
• Worked on new features and bug fixes on the multiple tool sets and dashboards used for simulation, integration test executions and results monitoring.
• Worked with the DevOps team to develop and maintain customer specific deployment scripts (bash). Implemented nightly runs for the builds associated with the automated tools team using Jenkins and Maven.
Kyte, San Francisco, CA Sep 2007 – Nov 2011
Client Services
Kyte.tv (acquired by KIT Digital Inc.) is a 360 video platform for live and on-demand content. The Kyte Platform enables media companies and marketers to engage audiences across online, mobile, and social platforms through interactive video experiences.
• Created a perl based tooling for executing Kyte platform’s REST API’s to capture performance measurements and validate specific metrics.
• Contributed code towards load and performance analysis workflow tools that leveraged Amazon EC2 web services.
• Created internal use web pages using JavaScript, Ajax, PHP to simulate various Kyte platform’s features and web integrations.
• Worked under the Engineering and Client Services team in troubleshooting Web API Integration issues encountered by the partners on the production platform. Created on- demand utility and fix up scripts for any data ingestion and retrieval issues, using the Kyte Platform APIs.
