• Maintained roads for haul trucks and other machinery of active mining areas to promote smooth operations and prevent any incidences from occurring.

• Removed rock spills from truckers, and graded skid marks during the winter, known as ‘bacon strips’, to prevent collisions of machinery. Fresh gravel was spread along active roads, potholes were repaired for improved transportation, road shoulders were fixed, and I built a new road as the mine-site expanded. Snow removal was a major factor to ensure vehicles could operate safely. Shoulders were also cleared to promote water flow and prevent flooding.

Core Logger: Examined and interpreted rock core samples to discover new ore reserves at the Lake Shore Gold project in Timmins, Ontario.

Business Analyst and Instructor: Provided technical assistance and consultation to clients, including classroom time, covering the Gemcom GEMS software suite at the head office of Gemcom Software International Inc. located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
