R E S PONSIBILITIES:

QA/QC ENGINEER

Preparing Method Statements & ITPs for site works and materials submission as per project requirements, with reference to drawings and project specifications. Managing QA/QC documents of the entire project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and other QA/QC documents. Participating in weekly site visits with construction personnel. Preparing all types of quality logs.

Coordinating with contractors and QA/QC personnel to verify on-site quality and reporting the same to the QA/QC Manager.

Developing QA/QC-related presentations in PowerPoint & Excel (graphs) for weekly and monthly meeting submissions at Head Office.

Supervising site excavation and backfilling works as per project requirements. Checking the preparation of foundations.

Checking the correct preparation of reinforcements. Verifying that all equipment is correctly calibrated. Performing material inspections in accordance with the Material Approval Request (MAR) that complies with project specifications.

Coordinating with the main contractor and client for each MIR & WIR/RFI activity and ensuring that all inspections are executed as per approved ITP. Ensuring, through inspections, that all civil, structural, and architectural works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and approved materials in line with project specifications.

Inspecting site conditions prior to the start of architectural construction activities. Inspecting the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with contract documents and approved shop drawings and submitting reports accordingly. Ensuring that all existing structures, property, utilities, and landscaping are properly protected. Reviewing materials delivered to the site for conformance with approved samples, materials, and equipment, and reporting findings.

Supervising on-site and off-site testing works.

Performing all other duties assigned by the direct manager. Attending weekly, monthly, and other progress meetings held at the site as required, and reviewing the contractor's progress.

Undertaking overall supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of works with specifications and contract requirements and addressing deficiencies as necessary. Assisting with the inspection of completed works, preparing punch lists, and monitoring start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Carrying out snagging/DE-snagging inspections and ensuring works are handed over to the required quality level.

Responsible for implementing all rectification procedures as per approved Method Statements, ITPs, and drawings.

Reviewing and arranging all material documents for inspections as per project requirements. Conducting surveillance inspections for material storage, preservation, and handling in stores and yards.

Preparing surveillance reports for deficiencies found on site and non-conformance reports

(NCRs) when required.

Coordinating with the safety team and ensuring that the highest safety standards are maintained. DECLARATION
