Cover Letter for My Resume and Job Application

Greetings,

My resume attached here is a brief of my work history and experiences that I hope you will consider worthy so to offer me an interview for your open position. Although I have talents and have had some very serious experiences and successes, I currently do have limitations of which I must disclose. 1) Physical Disabilities: I have a low back injury that dates back to July 1981 which limits my ability to lift, stand, and walk; both short term or for hours. Most times I do very well on certain projects but if a lot of heavy lifting involved then, I might need a day of recovery time and/or I might be slower at some tasks than others. Hence, it would be best if I could keep my lifting below 25lbs on a repeated basis and up to 200 lbs. occasionally, my walking to short distances of no more than 50 yards at a time, and limit my standing in one place to 30 minutes at a time. 2) Parolee: I am a current parolee having been released from custody on January 24, 2025. The conditions of my parole limit my ability to deal with anything financial. So, no sales where I have to handle funds or payments of any kind and no cash register usage. 3) My abilities as a consultant over a diverse number of projects gave me a tremendous skill set as I experienced an over 95% success rate. However, now I am not allowed to engage in any activities that directly involve financial transactions. The results of the above have greatly limited access to many jobs and has made my job search is very difficult. I am 65 years old and figure I can work till I am 70ish, so I am seeking a position where I can be of the best benefit over the next five years or so.
