--Sacramento County, CA, Associate Court Process Clerk, various locations all file or records-related: Records Retention Center (with a county-wide delivery/pickup route), DA's office, Sheriff's mug room, County administration and Superior Court process support, and Central Warrants. This series of appointments over two years exposed me (via filing, interfiling and purging) to working understanding of legal file types such as civil, criminal and probate, and common process terminology and flow.
--First Nationwide Bank, Sacramento CA: file conversion and folder refresh of physical property and lease files, from older simple two-sided files to new multi-divider ones by area of concern. Also, microfiche retrieval of record sequences in support of A/P and tax audit processes.
--Gateway Comics & Games, Citrus Heights CA, co-owner and manager 5.5 years, all management duties: planning, ordering, receiving, stocking, advertising, display construction, etc.
--Wizards of the Coast, Renton WA, IT asset control clerk: maintained info on people, equipment and location, with major catch-up for IT and HR. Shipping in/out and tracking of POS and network assets for a huge chain expansion. Contributed to the Editing department, my work ended up on some company product.
