Event Details:

On 8/12/21, Season Herndon was nominated by the Leadership Team for her efforts behind the true culture change that has been happening over the last year at Multi0Plastics Extrusions. To sum it up with a few examples: operator chairs, fans, air flow improvements, vending/lunchroom changes, push for the testing labs, and line operator designation (t-shirts_. With all the work we

(as the leadership team) began undertaking to make the wish list become realist, the recognition slipped our minds, as the end result felt like the real success and reward for all. After our 'Operation: Train-to-retain' meeting yesterday, and discussing valid points that Season has brought up yet again, we want to take the time now to say Thank You SEASON! Without the voice from the floor, we would not have the momentum to move forward with many of the projects we all see in existence today. We encourage you to continue to help make us better, and keep us moving in the right direction. Signed by the Plant Manager and the Incentive Committee Member. Quality Boomerang Award - Silver

You went above and beyond the call of duty, truly CAUGHT and OWNED quality, and prevented Boomerang product from leaving our facility. What's the catch?

During the past couple of months, you, along with many of your teammates have worked endlessly to prevent Boomerang film product from leaving our facility. This award shows that together, we are all unstoppable. Whether you helped correct the mechanical issues or prevented one single roll from making it out the door, it all came together. On 12/1/2020 Season submitted a Hazard Hound for an event that occurred on the H Line. A newer employee was pulling plastic at Meal Preparation Manufacturing Quality Inspection

the end of the tenter after a hole. The plastic sheet turned into hard plastic strands, and the employees were pulling the strands out of the way. The strands soon became bunched at the tenter guard, and the employee reached in to try and break the plastic free. Season hollered out to get the employee to stop to prevent any chance of injury. She explained to her why she cannot be in there. From this HH it evolved into a larger conversation after another similar event. This helped us identify missed opportunities, and hopefully they are corrected now moving forward. Thank you for your quick actions Season, way to be attentive! Signed by the Plant Manager and the Incentive Committee Member. MPXcellence Award - Silver

Event Details:

On 10/20/2020 Season brought attention to a serious incident. As she was up in the H Line Drive Room, she noticed a burning smell, and the room began to fill with smoke. She quickly moved out of the room, and found Marshall right at the bottom of the steps. She yelled to him there was smoke coming rom the room, so Marshal responded immediately, Season waited around, and Marshall came back down and told her to shut the line down. Season immediately went and hit the E-Stop to stop the H line. Talk about being in the right place at the right time, especially with all the issues we are having with the fire system! Season, your quick response saved us from a lot of damage! If the panel caught fire, it could have taken the H line down for some time. Thank you for not panicking, and doing absolutely the right thing!

Event Details:

On 8/25/2020 MPX performed a controlled power outage of the Extrusions Facility to provide the Power Company with data needed to prove we could lower our usage at/near/below the target rate. This type of shutdown, although controlled, still causes a lot of extra work and aggravation. Employees must shut down all the equipment, and then bring the line up from cold. The group did a great job, worked together, stayed sage, and completed a successful test. Thank you for the extra efforts for all who were involved. Signed by the Plant Manager and the Incentive Committee Member.
