I am contacting you as I am extremely interested in a position at your esteemed organization. I am a graduate of Canisius University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Behavioral, Ecology and Conservation, as well as receiving a Minor Degree in Political Science. Generally, I would consider myself a resourceful and organized professional, prioritizing finding solutions in an efficient manner. If the occasion arises, I am able to utilize problem-solving methodologies, analysis and creativity to complete a task. For two years, I was strengthening my abilities in veterinary and animal care. In addition, since I was working directly with the public, it honed my customer service skills. Furthermore, I have hands-on experience working with children and teaching them various properties and skills in biology and animal welfare with my time. In regards to my laboratory work, I worked closely with biology professors whilst pursuing my education, as well as assisted in lab-testing in veterinary settings. During this time, I learned how to use a centrifuge, micro/macroscopes, create slides, and properly record data. My career had to take a brief pause due to medical issues, however, that is no longer an issue. I am able to start immediately at your organization.
