SCHOOL INVOLVEMENT
-Riverside STEM link crew leader 2024-2025 school year
-Helped freshmen feel more comfortable during the first week of school as a Link Crew leader.
-Guided a group of 15 freshmen through orientation activities, event participation, and friendly competition to ease their transition into high school.
-Co-chief editor of the STEM’s yearbook for 2024-2025 school year
-Managed yearbook pages, checked for deadlines and kept people updated on them, advertised and sold yearbooks.
-Coordinated a team of yearbook staff to complete 170+ pages
-Civics project focusing on student athlete mental health
-During my project, I did research on student athletes and how doing sports can affect their mental health negatively with stressors outside of sports. I interviewed other students for insights and I used real research to strengthen my argument.

-Gave away toys in Jordan Downs for Christmas with Phi Beta Sigma
-Did 2 years of STEM public utilities (PULL)
-Worked as a team with 6-8 other people where we created a draft for an idea of an invention that would be helpful to people in Riverside.
WORK EXPERIENCE
-Work at the Pride Center as Student Assistant II
-I did event planning and coordination, worked at the front desk, entered/worked with data from students and events, and worked in a team to execute the events.
-Sometimes, I’d work front desk and talk to students that might need help navigating the space or campus.
