Customer Planner provided the sales force with a tool to plan grocery store promotions. The app used promotional data to estimate incremental sales based on promotions of products on specific weeks. The sales force used this to help meet sales goals.
Kraft Trade Incentive Program provided management with a tool to set goals for sales reps. Nielsen data for products and locations provided the expected sales and historical trends in order to set the future year goals. Kraft Business Insights System provided the sales force with a tool to create presentations for the grocery stores. The app used Nielsen data and created a series of Excel and PowerPoint presentations with charts and data to support their negotiations with the grocery chains for product placement and pricing.
