data systems engineer ey - manager jul 2020 - aug 2025
• ScrumMaster/Tech Lead/Data Engineer for a Data Fabric Project running on Kubernetes. I lead and managed the development team to implement features designed and reviewed with Leadership. I designed user stories for the Team, debugged, reviewed code, configured features, and more. The context ranged from UX and custom library features for data pipelines to architecture decisions about cloud compute resources. (Project Management, DevOps, Docker, Azure/AWS, Neo4j, Linux, Ontologies)

• I designed the UI wireframes for the home, interior decor, news, and projects pages of ABDB Designs. Then I wrote HTML/CSS/JS to implement this design across different browsers. This required liquid template modification, custom CSS/HTML/JS, and manual browser testing. I also rendered the photos.

first full stack engineer the post millenial nov 2018 - jan 2019
• I started at The Post Millennial (TPM) to reduce page load times. In a fast paced start-up environment, I adapted to different tasks my supervisor gave me. These ranged from ’make this button work on Firefox’ to ’can you make the site faster’. TPM, at the time, was a medium sized news site with +10000 visits/day. I answered questions for the founders about wordpress and diagnosed site problems, like why article likes weren’t rendering. I diagnosed a site crash from viral articles spiking the requests to the server. I prevented future site crashes by increasing the number of CPU’s and amount of cache and RAM on the server.

front end developer stress rx may 2016 – jun 2016
• I restored a small business website after it was hacked. I identified the malicious code, it was injected ads via a JS http request, and removed it for every affected file manually. Only then would the hosting company put the site back online. I obtained, edited, and uploaded the files with ftp, VIM, and the hosting interface.
