• Knowledge on Cold Insulation, Hot Insulation & Acoustic Insulation and Insulation Category/Operating Temperature for Granular, Cellulose, Fibrous types of insulation.

COATING:-

• Verifying the Mixing ratios as per Paint Manufacturer for Single/Two Pack Paints, including thinner.
• Ensuring that application is in a proper way like nozzle distance, Application angle, Hand movement of applicator to avoid coating defects such as dry spray, sagging, orange peel.
• Measuring the WFT & also ensure that Stripe coats were applied on all Inaccessible & weld Areas.
• Measuring the DFT & Holiday Testing after considering curing time, Verify the DFT values were met as per Project Specification/Paint Manufacturer.
• Witnessing the Non-Destructive test for Paint by PIG, pull off Adhesion test or Cross/X- Cut Test.
• Evaluating the paint defects & recommending for repair as per Painting Procedure/Method Statement and ensuring proper feathering was done on the localized Repaired surface.
• Aware of the Cause & Mitigation of paint defects & failures such as Pin Holes, Sagging, Flaking, Blistering, Chalking, Brush Marks, Blooming, Wrinkling, Mud Crack, Saponification, Orange Peel.
