I have a two year degree in Secretarial Science and also a degree in Business Management. Loved school!
HUSBAND AND MYSELF HAVE BEEN INDEPENDENT AUTO DAMAGE APPRAISERS FOR 8+ YEARS. IT IS OUR OWN BUSINESS. Unfortunately my husband cannot go out and work as required for this Business anymore. We have "retired" from this.
Extensive phone work calling many different types of persons
Typing
Data Entry
Auto Damage Appraisals (extensive)
Entering data into a main appraisal/estimation system
Writing estimates
PREVIOUS: Employed by the VP of an Insurance Company
Private Secretary with all duties - typing, transcription, making of a
small weekly newsletter, etc.
Dental Assistant and Receptionist - duties including appointment setting, chart keeping, filing, etc. Also arranged special appointments that the owner of business went to for work
I also, when first married this time - had my own software selling business out of home. Purchased a lot of Microsoft software at discount and resold.
I love to learn new things, explain things to other people. I am older but do not feel my age. Learning and keeping the mind active are what I do.
I am seeking an in-home position as my husband is somewhat disabled and I do need to be here in case he needs something he cannot obtain or there is an emergency. Apartment but one extra room for office type setting as we used it for our own business - Tangye's Appraisal Services - which has been done for over 8 + years out of home.
I have both a laptop,smart iPhone, desktop computers. All are open for use. I would probably use the desktop.
