Trade show carpentry requires me to set up / install all required equipment to clients specifications for conventions and trade shows . We are responsible for perfection due to the appeal of the booths on the public and or the industries for sales. Unload and load freight and equipment from trucks. Read trade show blueprints for floor marking then set equipment in place for booth layout. Lay booth and isle carpet. Deliver and assemble furniture and any other equipment ordered by exhibitors to booths . Booth labor which requires carpenters to assemble signs digital movie screens flooring structures etc. for exhibitors in specific booths . Assemble signs and such to be rigged with appropriate wire bridles and or poly straps as needed to hoist signs and rig to ceilings. Fill out appropriate paperwork for all material used for each rig. Operate either a boom lift or a scissor lift to secure project. Use lifts to build structures such as walls cages gates etc... Use lifts to hang signs inside and outside of buildings. Use lift or ladders to hang high drape . Build and decorate stages. Disassemble all projects and put equipment back in appropriate containers and or dollies fill paperwork for shipping when applicable . Sweep building to make sure all equipment has been recovered.
