I started off at Joycone working in the wafer side of the plant. Shortly after starting there I got trained over in cookie for my raise. Then I got asked to be a fill in for QC. I make sure while everyone is doing checks on the cookies and wafers I go around as well doing checks for all! I make sure that the moisture and the color of each item is in spec. I make sure the heights and weights of each item is in spec. I test the machines after each cleaning to make sure there isn’t any allergens (like soy and milk) left behind. I check all metal detectors to make sure they are working properly. When there is a contamination I write them up. There’s a machine called a ro tap that I collect some cookies and put it in the machine and the ro tap will shake bc the cookies fall into different screens and that’s to make sure the size of the cookies are to the companies standards!

As a department manager there comes a lot of responsibility like working unworked freight, capping bins, filling outs on the sales floor, making sure counts are correct, doing section work, making sure price changes are done, grabbing returns, making sure my end caps are filled for my customers, and making sure there is a nice clean zone in all of my departments. The biggest thing is making sure that I give great customer service.
I have been certified at the academy school for area specific so I was able to learn how all the processes were properly ran and the top stock training course was done as well. Also have had many people write in about my excellent customer service to the store. Cashier
