The Buzzy bees

BEE for BAGS
Designed a collection of home furnishing products for kids from cushion covers to pillows, bedsheets and curtains inspired by Honeybees. Utilized a graduating print placement to narrate the organic movement of bees. Developed motifs, compostions based on narrative design in Adobe Illustrator and executed production through screen printing.
A mix media project reflecting sustainability, craftsmanship and creativity draped in earthy tones using patchworking and quilting techniques. Explored and developed a different kind of Sashiko stitch for structural support. Hand stitched the soul of craftsmanship into textile.
Designed and hand wove a collection of bags inspired from the tempting colours of bees. Tried encorporating the versatality of bee movements into hand woven bags with interesting colour palettes and weave structures. ABOUT ME

The starfish collection
Designed a collection of scarves incorporating the regenerative, adaptabiilty features of starfish into my products dipped in vibrant colour palettes using various applique, stitching and beadwork techniques. Woven pages

Design a Spring-Summer collection of six garments for women and men. The concept arises with the idea of intersecting the raw, fast pulse of streetwear souls to the slow and traditional art of natural dye. Combining natural dyes and modern silouehettes of streetwear so that the young generation is encouraged to adopt and practise sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. EXPERIENCES
Performed a comparative study on Man Made Cellulosic Fibres to assess how each fibre Modal, Viscose and Lyocell perform on yarn as well as fabric stage against cotton.
