• Responsible for providing e-Vitals helpdesk customer service system support and assistance to
all EDRS/EBRS users for the electronic and manual Vitals records registration; medical
examiners and staff, funeral directors and staff, physicians and staff, hospital birth registrars, tax
collectors, the 67 county health department staff, and the 67 clerk of court staff, all who are
involved in filing Florida vital records.
• Assist electronic users with the process of installation of Citrix for access to e-Vitals; also assist
with password resets and lock outs.
• Assist with the verification of access forms and new user set up for EDRS/EBRS in the Vital
Records Resource Manager.
• Manage outbound calls to inquiries to consumers that have questions regarding problems or
concerns.
• Troubleshoot, test, and report the e-Vitals electronic registration system to ensure that
functionally and edits perform as required and designed.
• Responsible for handling help desk calls, and registration support for EDRS/EBRS for funeral
directors, medical examiners, hospitals, physicians, 67 county health department and tax
collectors.
• Scan and manually attach fax attestations to electronic death records.
• Help assist via phone the 67 County Health Departments with safety paper issues, doc sequence
problems, doc tracking issues and voids, as well helping reconcile discrepancies.
• Ability to add users in the database, create there maintain user accounts, add funeral directors to
the FUNDIR table, add physicians to the PHYSICIAN table, and set up active directory accounts.
• Assist in the deletion and monitoring of duplicate records in e-Vitals, for all events.
