Program Manager - Visual Technology (May 2024 to Feb 2025)

• Leveraged expertise in surveillance-assisted law enforcement to onboard innovative, AI-enabled public safety and traffic solutions to clients. These included automated vehicle recognition (ProAVR®), traffic enforcement (ProATE®), and automated person detection (ProAPD®) systems.

• Served as the primary liaison with multiple law enforcement stakeholders on photo enhancement systems. Facilitated a turn-key approach to cutting-edge traffic law processes by conducting training on automated payment processing, vehicle and facial recognition, and red-light and speed infractions.

• Collaborated with sales, marketing, and product engineers to ensure client success, build confidence in using automated solutions, and promptly identify and mitigate issues before they escalated. City of Chesapeake, VA

• Collaboratively implemented multiple Axon camera programs (body, in-car, and signal sidearm activation).

• Invested 18 months in vetting technology vendors for eCitation software. This was used for handheld devices for officers to scan driver's licenses.

• Partnered with the FBI during the COVID pandemic on potentially utilizing Recover Latent Fingerprint Technology (LFT). This forensics process was eventually adopted by the department and used with a machine (RECOVER) that chemically pulled fingerprints off fired shell casings.

• Supervised major cases to ensure investigative integrity and collaborated with other law enforcement agencies during joint operations if needed.

• Acted as an informative ambassador representing the department at community meetings and fostering relationships with the public and local organizations.

• Elected President of the Chesapeake Public Safety Alliance (2021 - 2024) and the Chesapeake Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #9 (2019 - 2021).
