January 2025 – March 2025: Housekeeper, Boltight, Walsall

-Cleaning offices, kitchens, toilets and other workplace areas across six different industrial units.

-Carrying out administrative tasks for up to an hour each day, including logging data, sorting and filing paperwork, and completing other ad hoc office-based duties.

-Taking pride in keeping high standards of cleanliness to support a safe and professional environment.

-Working independently and showing initiative to complete tasks efficiently without supervision.

-Demonstrating flexibility and commitment by working early mornings and unsociable hours to meet the needs of the business.

-Thriving in a busy, fast-paced setting, regularly liaising with the manager to ensure all tasks were completed to the expected standard.

-Demonstrated initiative by successfully gaining a place on an employability course designed to improve job prospects for recent school leavers.

-Developed communication skills through collaboration with a diverse group of professionals and peers.

-Built confidence by delivering presentations both individually and as part of a group to fellow course participants and staff.

-I was the first student to find a job on the course and was thereafter working as a teaching assistant, supporting others with their work experience and CVs, providing advice where required.

-Completed a practical, hands-on course focused on improving personal fitness, building confidence and developing healthy, active habits suitable for all ability levels.

-Gained knowledge of how the body works, the benefits of regular exercise and how to support others to lead healthier lifestyles through sport and physical activity.

-Planned and led basic warm-ups and group sessions, building confidence in leadership and learning how to motivate and support others in a structured environment.

-Set personal fitness goals, reflected on progress throughout the course and developed positive routines to support physical and mental wellbeing.
