Dow Chemical Company, Louisiana Operations in Plaquemine, LA 2011 - 2025

Project Manager

Led multidisciplinary project teams on capital projects up to $33M at Dow’s Louisiana site, with additional implementation across Prentiss, Alberta and Freeport, TX. Managed delivery of $150M+ in capital projects and supported front-end estimating for initiatives ranging from $7M to $75M. Drive execution excellence, stakeholder alignment, and early-stage cost visibility.

Directed complex, multi-site, multi-business capital projects involving cross-functional engineering and operations teams.

Directed project teams from multiple locations on multiple business projects.

Worked on several conversions projects going from the current DCS system to a more advanced ABB control system.

Implemented capital projects totaling $3.5M and expense projects of $4M, driving operational upgrades and compliance improvements during the Dow–UCC transition. Served as the site’s Process Safety Focal Point, leading to the implementation of Mechanical Integrity standards in alignment with Dow protocols. Spearheaded multiple plant-wide systems conversions from Union Carbide (UCC) to Dow Chemical standards, ensuring safe and seamless integration.

Early career includes Project Engineering with Eastman Chemical in Longview Texas which I completed a $5.9 million dollar project in 9 months to meet the Business requirements.
