Technologies used for this projects are COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, ZOS Connect API, OPC Scheduling, ISPW, Topaz, Mainframe tools, SQL, ETL, Azure data factory, Azure cloud, Databricks, Py-spark.
Roles & Responsibilities: I am responsible for following task for Bank CRM application.
-Manage and Maintenance for Mainframe related change based on business requirement or bug fix.
-Daily Production Support of Mainframe based application.
October 2014–March 2022 - Fidelity Business Services India Pvt. Ltd. (Fidelity Investments), Chennai (T.N.)
Roles & Responsibilities: I was working as Mainframe Developer and Production Support for Fidelity in house product i.e., ‘customer communication’. As part of this I have worked on following projects using various technologies (Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, Mainframe tools, SQL, ETL). Also I was the part of rotational on-call production support for Mainframe applications.
Project:1 – Broadridge Conversion (Print Vendor Conversion)
We are responsible to generate financial communication documents (monthly statements, daily letters, trade confirms) for Fidelity customers and clients and then we send the documents for printing for further processing. As part of this project, we on boarded external print vendor ‘Broadridge’ to print our documents. I worked as developer for this Print Vendor Conversion project.
Project:2 – Letters Platform Modernization
We migrated our Letters application from Mainframe to Azure Cloud. As part of this project, I worked as Mainframe developer and analyst to migrate this application from Mainframe to AWS Cloud.
Project:3 – Reconciliation Application Core and Maintenance
As part of this application, we track the documents from Initiation (source system) to end customer to make sure that documents are successfully delivered to customer. I worked for multiple projects for this application.
Project:4 – On boarding new document
I have worked for on boarding multiple new documents to our platform based on business requirement.
Other Role & Responsibilities:
On-Call support – I was also responsible for production application on-call support on rotation basis.
Agile ceremonies – I was facilitating all the Agile ceremonies for my squad.
