RE: PM Owner’s Rep
To Whom it May Concern:
Attached is a copy of my resume for your consideration. Based on the Responsibilities listed for this job vacancy I feel that I offer a level of experience and expertise that qualifies me as a candidate for your opening. I have recently completed a $60,000,000 project in Brooklyn NY for the NYC Dept of Design and Construction and I have relocated the Charleston area. I have spent most of my career working out of the NY Metro area managing a variety of projects locally and throughout the eastern United States. While most of my work has been focused in the hospitality sector, I’ve also been involved with several high visibility institutional and commercial projects, each of which presented their own unique set of demands. Exposure to these projects, along with the more routine construction operations, has allowed me to develop a skill set necessary to satisfy the many competing interests commonly confronted in construction projects in major metropolitan areas. These competing interests range from budgetary constraints, regulatory impacts, design conflicts, resource allocation and a myriad assortment of other unforeseen conditions. Finding solutions to these issues is typically the result of a team-oriented approach to problem solving and the relationships I’ve developed with architects, engineers and a multitude of subcontractors are a key component to fostering a team- oriented approach to a safe, equitable and efficient outcome to these obstacles. Similarly, it is equally important to establish a cohesive project team internally, engaging all levels of participation with a clear understanding of responsibilities and obligations - trust in subordinates and other stakeholders is essential for the success of any project.
If your client is interested in the possibility of adding a seasoned veteran to their project management team, please contact me so we can discuss their needs and my suitability to fulfill those needs in greater depth. My resume highlights only a few of the significant projects I’ve been a part of lately and I can provide multiple examples of other successfully executed projects. I can also furnish references familiar to the industry who can attest to my work ethic and integrity. If you have any questions or need any additional information please contact me directly at 908-***-**** or ************@*****.***. Sincerely,
Roy Johnson
