FREIGHT AUDIT: Have full capacity to audit and advise better means of cost savings through rate analysis of lanes and Operational processes Through interpretation of NMFC ( i. e. Post audit will reveal inadequacies of the front-end process)
OPERATIONS: Substantial knowledge of Replenishment systems of Finished Goods, and Raw Material Procurement. JIT coordination of Nissan loads of inbound auto parts and glass.
NAFTA CROSS-BORDER OPERATION : Monitor of cross-border operation of raw material to Monterrey, Inbound replenishment to US DC’s, audited cost, trouble shooting carrier problems at Nuevo Laredo, and forwarders of Bridgestone Firestone ( i.e. Fed Ex Trade Networks, Dicex Forwarding, and Texas Forwarding)

Freight Payment Process : The Punctual pricing supplied to our payment Vendor by Physical Distribution, The accuracy of lanes bid vs pricing contained in the Schedule “A”, field compliance using only carriers who were awarded bids, and fulfillment of directives given to our payment vendor on the one hand, are weighed against recovery levels in Post Audit.
Liaison Between Payment Vendor, Corporate, Carriers, and Field.
1.My main responsibility is to monitor, and maintain levels of service from our payment vendor that keeps freight expenditure in check with the bid pricing we implement each year. I supply the Payment Vendor with all updated pricing, I oversee the pre-audit process through the Client Approval Process, and payment failures brought to my attention through Balance Due’s forwarded by carriers and advice requested by the payment Vendor.
2.Secondly, I advise Physical Distribution of any inaccuracy’s that may exist between our bid carriers and corporate pricing, negotiate and implement chronic missing lanes that are far above regular bid expenditure, and see to it that these non-compliances are brought to the attention of all related parties.
