Cloud Gallery – Web System Deployment on AWS

• Deployed a Node.js and PostgreSQL image management web application from a local environment to AWS infrastructure, adhering to architectural and security best practices.

• Architected a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with Public Subnets for the Web Server (EC2) and Private Subnets for the Database (RDS) to isolate and secure data from direct internet access.

• Provisioned and administered Linux EC2 instances, configuring Nginx as a Reverse Proxy and utilizing PM2 for robust background process management.

• Integrated Amazon S3 for static file storage with appropriate Bucket Policies and implemented a highly available relational database using Amazon RDS.

• Enhanced system security by configuring Security Groups (restricting traffic from EC2 to RDS only) and securely assigning IAM Roles to EC2 for S3 access, eliminating the need for hard-coded access keys.

Enterprise Network Security System Architecture
