Skills
Some skills that I have that differentiate me from other possible candidates among others, briefly include: punctuality; I do not show up late to work or never show up without any communication before. Reliability; I am very well known to be the person everyone asks clarifying questions of, especially as we are acquiring new hires at our store currently, as well as someone who is known to do the right thing given the circumstances. positivity and optimism, always helping give any employees working with me on my shifts a desire to be at work that day. I also possess a readiness to learn and grow from any opportunity possible as well as the ability to accept change and correction quickly and efficiently. Having worked as a Kindergarten TA this past year, I have also grown in my patience and understanding when dealing with both student and parent, and have developed a stronger connection and ability to connect with children.
Experience
August 2025 - Present
Kindergarten TA, Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County- Teaching Assitant
This is my current job and as the school year comes to close, I am in need of a summer job! My current part time position during the school year, is being switched someone else who can provide a full time service instead.
My position as a Kindergarten TA, has helped me grow in my passion for helping children grow and learn and has strengthened my patience and the ability to effectively communicate with both parents and students.
Working with children and their parents, has helped create a greater mental stamina for me and the ability to be consistent in my responses concerning discipline as well as how to remain loving and trustworthy to the children.
October 2024 - May 2025
Plato's Closet, Lonetree- Sales Associate
This was my previous job and I quit here because I need a higher hourly rate to pay for college and management was unfortunately deteriorating.
My position as a sales associate requires me to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize customer interaction and involvement as well as handle registers, buy in inventory and occasionally help train new employees.
My store has also experienced multiple turnovers of managers, which have each included different adjustments and challenges, but thus far, I have navigated these successfully, and have learned immensely throughout.
July 2024 - November 2024
Subway, Quebec and County Line - Front End Associate
This was my very first job, previously I had been teaching piano lessons to three students as well as babysitting for more than five families.
I really did enjoy working here, the other employees who trained me and worked with me, were very encouraging and supportive, I simply left this job, because I had become proficient enough at my job, that I was asked to close at 9:30 at night by myself, as a sixteen year old and I was not comfortable with this position offer.
I did, however, learn a greater lesson of how to work well as a team, be a positive sales associate during any customer interaction that I might experience, as well as what working hard and working in a faster paced environment felt like.
Before I started these three other jobs, I taught piano lessons for two years, and have babysat since I was 13.
Education
I am currently a High School Graduate of Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County, Colorado
