Role Summary
The ERP Project Manager will lead ERP initiatives with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion and related enterprise systems.
The role is responsible for end-to-end delivery including scope, planning, budget control, vendor management, risk and issue management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Project Governance and Delivery
• Lead ERP projects from initiation through closure, including scope, schedule, budget, and governance.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource assignments.
• Run project meetings (kickoff, weekly status, steering committee, risk/issue reviews, UAT readiness, cutover readiness).
• Control scope and manage change requests with proper impact assessment and approvals.
Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the main point of contact for ERP project communication across IT, business teams, and vendors.
• Ensure alignment between stakeholders and drive timely decisions and approvals.
• Provide regular status reporting covering progress, risks, issues, decisions required, and next steps.
Vendor and Partner Management
• Manage implementation partners and vendors to ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality.
• Review and validate vendor deliverables (design documents, configuration, testing evidence, training materials, cutover plans).
• Drive escalations and ensure compliance with contract terms and agreed SLAs. Quality, Testing, and Cutover
• Ensure the project follows an appropriate delivery lifecycle (requirements, design, build, testing, training, go-live).
• Lead UAT planning and execution and manage defects through resolution and retesting.
• Coordinate cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare/stabilization activities.
Risk, Issue, and Compliance Management
• Maintain RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and ensure mitigation and resolution plans are executed.
• Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, decision logs, change requests, sign-offs, and closure reports.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance with internal governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager delivering ERP projects, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Proven experience in end-to-end ERP implementation, enhancement, or upgrade projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes (Finance and Procurement are preferred; SCM/HCM is a plus).
• Strong experience managing third-party vendors/system integrators.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
• Oracle-related training or certification is a plus. Skills and Competencies
