Instrumental in building and embedding a proactive safety culture from project mobilisation (5–10 personnel) through to peak activity, now overseeing over 400 operatives across 20+ subcontractors. CLIENT CONTRACTOR SITE HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER FUJIFILM / TWC Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies – Large Scale Microbial Expansion Project (Pharma) Worked on behalf of the Client as the project transitioned from mechanical completion into the commissioning phase. Held responsibility for the overall management of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) on-site, ensuring full regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe, controlled environment during the final stages of the project. Key responsibilities included the development and implementation of the Commissioning Health & Safety Plan, managing the structured handover of all CDM Controlled and Restricted (CCR) areas, and overseeing the transfer of Principal Contractor duties from the Principal Contractor to the Client. This also involved establishing and communicating a new Permit to Work system across the site. Developed a revised induction programme tailored for the commissioning phase and personally delivered site inductions. Managed the Fujifilm AIMS (Audit, Inspection, Monitoring, and Safety) Programme, ensuring all findings were reported to senior management and that corrective actions were tracked and effectively closed out.
