Project Details: Managed statewide effort to transition from a legacy business licensing solution (Phase 1 - UCC filings) to CaseXellence SaaS product. Transition included data migration of all legacy data. Project management effort included managing an aggressive agile project schedule, deliverable compliance with IV&V oversight, product owner for Phase 2 Agile development and managed project team members to complete tasks on time and within budget.

Project: Division of Public & Behavioral Health – myAvatar NX and Vital Records System Migration to AWS
Project Details: Manage effort to migrate from a private vendor data center to Amazon Web Services (AWS). These two large statewide systems with complex external integrations needed to be relocated to AWS to include rigorous security guidelines. These migrations needed to occur to not interrupt the critical systems’ operations of patient care and vital records tracking.
Project: Division of Public & Behavioral Health – myAvatar NX Upgrade and Development of RFI/RFP to replace statewide Electronic Healthcare Record (E.H.R.) system
Project Details: Manage upgrade project for 9+ mental healthcare sites for statewide implementation of Electronic Healthcare Record management. Gathered Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements to develop solicitations for a comprehensive integrated solution that includes case management, pharmacy and prescription management for inpatient and outpatient facilities. This request included over 150+ security requirements for a robust solution that meets State of Nevada security guidelines.
Project: Division of Public & Behavioral Health – COVID Response and CDC Funded Projects (988, Data Modernization Initiative, Vaccine Management, COVID Contract Tracing, and Disease Surveillance)
Project Details: Program Management included management of fast paced COVID Response and CDC funded projects for the State of Nevada to comply with CDC federal guidelines. One project was based on the Salesforce platform and one was an open-source solution. Project timelines were escalated to meet very critical requirements. Projects included developing RFPs, evaluating RFP responses, managing vendors/integrators, contract staffing and grant funding oversight to make sure project objectives were met in accordance with State Epidemiology and Security requirements.
Project: Division of Public & Behavioral Health – Web Infrastructure For Treatment Services E.H.R. Project (WITS)
Project Details: Vendor supplied (COTS/SaaS) substance abuse prevention and treatment case management solution that encompassed external statewide stakeholders. Solution to manage substance abuse programming within the State of Nevada for federal reporting.
Project: Division of Public & Behavioral Health – E.H.R. Medication Management Optimization Project (MMO)and Upgrade Project in 2022
Project Details: Vendor supplied (COTS/SaaS) medication management solution with integration effort to Electronic Healthcare Record statewide system. Solution to manage clinical and pharmacy activities for 5 mental facilities, 5 pharmacies and 20 clinics within the State of Nevada.
Project: Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) – Motor Carrier Multifunctional Account Processing System Project (MCMAPS)
Project Details: Vendor supplied (MOTS/SaaS) solution to manage International Registration Plan (IRP) within the State of Nevada for all motor carriers (including interstate and intrastate vehicles). Solution to replace internal custom solution with migration effort and adding federal compliance requirements.

Project: Portland Community College (PCC)– ERP Evaluation and Selection Project (1) and Workday Implementation Project (2), Portland, Oregon
Project (1) Details: Manage resources and activities to conduct an extensive evaluation of a new ERP. Conducted modified JAD sessions with users to conduct GAP analysis between their legacy ERP and Workday. Developed and presented Executive Briefings on findings and recommendations. Developed 4-year implementation financial modeling budget including resource allocations/costs. Presented findings to PCC Board and received approval to move forward in 2024 with a 4-year implementation of Workday.
Project (2) Details: Manage resources and activities to implement Workday throughout the college with 5 campuses and over 85,000 students. Coordinate, manage and conduct oversight all project activities with the Vendor under their 10.2 million contract. Manage all scope, schedule, budget and resources to transition PCC from Banner ERP to Workday ERP in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and Technology.

The migration effort included a massive Medi-Cal web portal for statewide County users with multiple databases. Included managing Migration Vendor for project effort.

Projects Detail: Managed two sequential Contact Center (COTS -VoIP and cloud-based software utilizing SIP Technologies) redesign projects that included actively monitoring the completion of building construction with new infrastructure, telecommunication and network system design, software development, user acceptance testing, implementation and post-implementation activities that included aggressive and dependent project schedules. Managed custom development of a web portal project which was a ‘one stop’ portal for teacher supplemental retirement plans.

Projects Detail: Provided project management responsibilities for: 1) ERP Implementation which included COTS solutions of Microsoft Great Plains and Hansen software and 2) COTS – Microsoft CRM implementations.
Project: CALPERS, myCalPERS and PSR Integration Projects
Project Details: Provided project oversight for two high profile projects at CalPERS which included requirement discovery; use case analysis and review; code development and testing for incorporating new or enhanced applications into the members’ website (myCalPERS). Included coordination with integration with the legacy replacement project (PSR).
Project: California Department of Insurance (CDI), Telecommunications Infrastructure Replacement Project (TIRP)
Project Details: Managed TIRP that included actively monitoring the completion of the facility redesign (LAN/WAN), development, testing, implementation of the Cisco solution and post-implementation activities. Implementation included upgrading from a PBX -14 office system to a VoIP -14 office telecommunication system. Project included two statewide call centers upgrades and a new IVR using the COTS applications from Cisco and Exony.
Project: California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Automotive Repair, NGET System
Project Details: Managed a 70-million-dollar contract with the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs by providing contract oversight, implementing contract deliverables and monitoring budget. Project included a redesign of the Smog Check II program that included custom development for collection devices, business intelligence, and a call center implementation.
Project: California Department of Health and Human Services, Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Program
Project Details: Implemented the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) program (270-million-dollar contract) throughout California (14 Counties) by working with each county’s Health and Human Services Department to transform each facility into an electronic processing system that served the less fortunate.

Project Details: Facilitated workgroup sessions to build consensus and developed Strategic Business Plans for the Division of Research.
