Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina September 2023 – Present Facilitated biology labs for junior undergraduate students along with a graduate teaching assistant and/or lab instructor. Provided support to students during lab assignments, guided students in completing project papers, and addressed their questions related to lab materials and procedures

NSERC Summer Student at University of Regina May – August (2024, 2025) Gained hands-on experience in microbial genetics research under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Cameron, a microbiologist, geneticist, and co-founder of the Institute of Microbial Systems and Society (IMSS). Developed proficiency in the scientific method and practiced a range of microbiological laboratory techniques, including bacterial culturing, serial dilutions, conjugations and basic laboratory calculations. Used MS Excel, Canva and various other bioinformatics software (NCBI, InterPro, SnapGene etc.) for data analysis and representation.

Student Assistant at the University of Regina June 2022 – May 2023 Ran Ambassador volunteer training sessions, and performed administrative office tasks on MS Access like answering emails, data entry, and organizing student meetings. Supervised the Youth Fellowship program aimed at providing a holistic development for the youth of Regina to address the urgent need facing our community today: lack of youth leadership. Featured as a guest on the RYLI podcast and assisted as a Camp Counselor for the 2025 summer camp in Saskatchewan. Speaker, TEDx Regina 2024 December 2023 – March 2024

Delivered a talk at TEDx Regina 2024 titled, Beyond the Fabric which highlighted the media misrepresentation of the hijab, its true essence and its impact on the education of young girls. This talk was recorded and uploaded on the official TEDx YouTube channel.

Ambassador Leader October 2021 – Present

Organized social events, led tasks for campus events like Orientation, Welcome Week and Move-in.
