Job Description:

•Manage and plan security operations to safeguard plant premises and employees, against risk of unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism and criminal activities.

•Implement and manage security/admin operations in accordance with the organizational policies.

•Planning and ensuring effective monitoring of electronic surveillance systems.

•Conducting risk/threat assessment and planning mitigation for the identified risks/threats.

•Investigation on incidents and finding RCFA and define its hazard elimination and its implementation.

•Planning and executing periodical survey of man power deployment.

•Preparation and propagation of SOP’s pertaining to employees and material movement.

•Ensuring the day to day Proces s make necessary arrangements for smooth fucntioning and make necessary modifications based on requirement in the interest of organization.

•Proactively identifying and rectifying problem areas to ensure uninterrupted operations.

•Conducting mock drills and trainings in accordance with OSEP (Onsite Emergency Plan).

•Conducting regular audits/cross functional audit QMS, EMS, OHASAS reviews and surprise visits to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the whole team.

•Ensuring compliance with necessary documentation of the standards as per the guidelines of internal and various external audit agencies.

•Conudcting periodical Safty Trainingings on PPE, HIRA, LIFE SAFETY ELEMENTS, RCFAs/COMPLAINCE/ UNSAFE CONDITIONS/ UNSAFE ACTS, GROUP RISK ASSESSEMENTS, WORK INSTRUCTIONS, JSA, WORK PERMIT SYSTEMS, WORK AT HEIGHT, TYPES OF HAZARDS ITS ELIMINATIONS, SIPP, SSC, BBS, EXCAVATION CARES, CARES AGAINST CONFINED SPACES and USE OF BRATHING OPPRATUS

•Taken care of access control, i.e people (worker/staff/visitors/VVP) and material entry/exit in a proper way and maintain its required documentation at all the gates.

•Ensured to monitor CC cameras and observe the untoward movements of men and vehicles.

•Ensure to implications of management policies like mobile restrictions, no smoking and other toxic material its amendments time to time.

•Ensured to take plant rounds for observation guards performance, interacting to increase their skills to focus more on the people/vehicle/material movement, identification of fire & safety hazards and cross checking of documentation at all the posts and gates.

•Ensured traffic control for smooth movement of vehicle reported to unit for material movement and tracking TAT of each vehicle.

•Conduct mock drills for enhancing the skill/tactics of security/fire crew to tackle the types of emergencies.

•Conducting trainings for developing the skills (like men/material entries/patrolling/identification hazards/firefighting /emergency response/unsafe conditions & unsafe acts/ensuring for communication protocol in case of emergencies) of security and fire team on the identified training topics.

•Ensuring for closing boundary wall/fencing gaps if any to prevent trespassing

•Ensured to develop the internal and external parking area to facilitate smooth operation of vehicle movement.

•Ensure to initiate procurement processes and required jobs required to attend by the engineering department through SAP.

•Conducting enquiries on incidents/accidents/indiscipline cases noticed in and around mill premises.

•Ensured for conducting weighbridge calibrations time to time for avoiding weighment issues.

•Conducting periodical checking’s /maintenance works by either out sourcing or in house man power, implementation of summer action plan, attending hot works, AMCs of fire equipment, fire detection system,

•Conducting trainings and organizing National fire service Week for creating more fire safety awareness, and preparation against internal and external audits and necessary documentation for closing its Non Compliances during the audits if any.

•Ensured for conducting 5s activities for ensuring 5s as per mill standard.

Educational Qualifications:

•Bachelor Degree.

•Diploma in Security / Fire/ Qualified in Sub-officers course National Fire Service Institute, Hyderabad.

•Qualified in Security trainings promotional cadre courses in the Central Industrial Security Force during the 24 years.

•Qualified in disaster management course Central Government Fire Service Training Institute Hyderabad.
