Order Picker
January 2023 to March 2024
At Bandai Namco I operated an electric cherry picker vehicle for low and high level order picking, whilst scanning and selecting product with an RF scanner. As an Order Selector, I was in charge of carrying out big ticket orders of toys and collectibles covering several popular brands for customers, partners and major events such as WonderCon, Anime Expo and Comic Con. I've also supported the Inbound/Outbound team with packing and shipping. I would often finish my picking on the lift, report to my manager, then would be assigned to Shipping/Receiving to support the Outbound International team. Utilizing Microsoft Office and Excel, I am in charge of printing labels containing customer information, reviewing and accounting all product information is accurate before loading and sending.

My duties vary every night. I am primarily assigned to Receiving, however upon request I would perform Put Away, or participate in Case Picking projects until shift end. I mainly begin my shift with Put Away and Staging, until my supervisors inform me there is an inbound shipment assigned to me.
From there, I would transfer to Receiving. Before offloading, I inspect the trailer and contents for damage, spills, loose objects and/or other safety hazards. Using a sit-down forklift, transporting pallets of food products from trailers to the dock floor, receiving on the way utilizing an equipped RF Scanner. Confirmation and input of all information into a provided computer system to verify before staging. I also have access to Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) for Case Picking. For Case Pick, I gain access to pick orders, switching over to the Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ). Once order is received, a location is provided and I begin building, palletizing then staging the product going outbound. It is my duty to neatly stack, cross-stack and honor all quantities of each pick order with accuracy and in a timely manner, before applying shrink wrap and staging.
