Wet Seal Inc. – Store Manager 1989 - 1993

Provided each customer with top notch customer service while creating a fun positive shopping experience. Responsible for hiring, training and developing a strong team to make weekly sales goals while executing store operations and visual merchandising displays.

Wet Seal Inc. – Tops Buyer/Merchandise Planner 1993 - 1997 Worked directly with vendors, negotiate cost/write purchase orders. Responsible for assortment selection and trend awareness with a quick reaction to business trends. Partner with Merchandise Analysts to execute assortment in stores.

Wet Seal Inc. – Special Projects Planner 1997 - 2000 Traveled to malls/vacant mall properties to research possible new store locations, planned inventory levels for all new stores, worked with construction team to ensure stores opened on time. Managed Distribution Center Analyst Team to guarantee all merchandise entered DC properly and allocated to over 500 stores in a timely manner. Established business flow needs, requirements and testing. Created all system training materials and facilitated training to end users on Retek. Tilly’s Inc. – Inventory Control Manager/Distribution Center Liaison 2002 - 2003 Managed execution of product from warehouse to store locations. Coordinated all store physical inventory events.
