I started working at age 12 up to 17 babysitting for people and getting paid for it. Once I turned 18 I wanted to find an actual job, so I work for an exact year at Speedway where I learned regular customer orders, developed relationships with co-workers and customers, stock shelves, restock fountain drink cups and lids, straws, making coffee, replacing fountain pop bibs, counting truck and putting it away, cleaning countertops, bathrooms, floors, shelves, doing work in the cooler, cleaning gas pumps and maintaining the outside parking lot. I decided to go another route with Dollar General working a register, developing customer relationships, cleaning, stocking and scanning items to be put on the floor. I went to a more at-desk job with VXI working as a DirecTV sales rep. I talked to and listened to many customers per day as I was an inbound rep. I worked on the computer at all times. With all of this experience, even at a short time, I have learned kindness and patience with the public, computer skills (Even not in the work force), learning to do things in time but still getting it done right. After taking a long hike away by being a stay-at-home-mother, I'd like to come back into the workforce. I took time off to be a mother to my two boys who are both homeschooled, so I have become more and more in tune with computer skills. Currently I have picked up a side gig with Spark. I delivery groceries and packages from stores mainly from Walmart but sometimes from Home Depot as well! There are other stores but mainly my offers come from Walmart. I walk by people daily, I talk to people daily, I follow instructions given by customers, trying to pick other items that weren't available and then making sure those items are okay before leaving the store. I have also gone above and beyond for my customers as well! I have been given the same customers from time to time and have gotten tips based on my performances.
