Responsibilities: Acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the absence of the CIO, preparation of budget, strategic plan, collection development plan, and library policies, management of library electronic resources, managing book, journal and e-resource acquisitions, managing subscriptions for both print and online resources, maintaining the library intranet site, responding to research and reference questions in a timely manner, attending Accreditation Board meetings, Academic Board meetings, University Executive Management Team meetings. Acquisition and cataloguing duties, in charge of the E-library, supervising and training subordinate staff, provision of research assistance to faculty and staff, and teaching faculty, staff and student research and information literacy skills.
