Verifies that appropriate security tests are conducted and documented. Ensures that the accreditation support documentation is developed and maintained and verify that each IS meets security specifications for an acceptable level of risk. Verified compliance scans and virus scans are accurately conducted on both Unclassified and Classified COMPOSE Network, SCIF Network and Tra-Net Networks.
Ensures that INFOSEC program requirements are met. Implements the risk management program required by the DON. Verifies that appropriate security tests are conducted and documented.
Reviews the accreditation plan and reaccreditation activities. Ensures that proposed system changes are reviewed, and that implemented system modifications do not adversely impact the security of the system.
Including interception and destruction of enemy aircraft and missiles in all weather conditions. During the process supervised the completion of networked computers, anti-virus capabilities and training to Junior Sailors. Maintained administrator accounts and infosec requirements for 27 Information System Technician Sailors during a flawless network embarkation and debarkation during USS Carl Vinson first F-35 deployment. While maintaining the help desk, assisting in over 1900 Sailors user accounts apart of the COMCARAIRWING Two while managing the data storage and security network.
Ensures that IS users' activities are monitored to verify compliance with security policies and procedures. Coordinates regularly with Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) and Network Security Officers (NSO), who provide system-level INFOSEC support within the confines of the ISSM's area of responsibility. Maintains an Activity INFOSEC Plan (ISSP) and ensures Conducted carrier air warfare operations and assist in the planning, control, coordination, and integration of seven air wing squadrons Automated Data Processing and Operations support.
AUTONOMIC Logistics Information Systems (ALIS) provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services. ALIS integrates a broad range of capabilities including operations, maintenance, prognostics, supply chain, customer support services, training, and technical data. A single, secure information environment provides users with up-to-date information on any of these areas using web-enabled applications on a distributed F-35 network.
