PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
BRIDGES
Constructed super-structure of a balanced cantilever prestressed concrete bridge 1500 ft. long with 6 spans of 250 ft. each at Ahmedabad, India. Responsibilities included Surveying, erection of form work, laying of high tensile steel cables, fixing reinforcement, concreting, tensioning, anchoring, grouting the cables and site coordination. Cost of the bridge was $85 million. Inspected H beam steel piles and vertical wick drain for Raytheon Company. Inspected construction of bridges for Secaucus Road and Paterson Plank Road projects for NJDOT and NJ Transit. Cost of the bridges $38 million and $44 million respectively.
ROADS
Constructed approach roads for bridges. Constructed internal roads for auto complex for Honda/GMC and Coca-Cola plant at Bahrain. Generated Engineers cost estimate for road project at St. Paul Island, Alaska. Reviewed plans, specification, and estimates and carried out final inspection of road projects. Worked as Highway Engineer for Department of Interior in Alaska. Inspected resurfacing and reconstruction of Rt. 295 road project at Cherry Hill for NJDOT. (65 million) As Resident Engineer, completed various construction projects including $8.01 million resurfacing road project for NJDOT.
BUILDINGS
Estimated tendered and constructed various residential and commercial buildings at Yemen, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain and India. The total value of this building projects $156 Millions.
STRUCTURAL STEEL SHEDS
Supervised erection of American Building Company sheds for auto complex and Kirby system sheds for Coca-Cola plant at Bahrain. Inspected warehouses for Port authority of NY & NJ.
