Career Accomplishments
Project Manager Big Renovations 2024 - 2026
Directed and supervised the interior demolition and full remodeling of multiple residential units within the Bay Colony community. Oversaw coordination among architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure all homeowner requirements were met. Managed project execution from planning through completion, with a total construction value of approximately $1.5 million.
Project Manager Heatherwood Construction 2019 - 2024
Directed construction commercial buildings, remodeling of several clubhouses, building of new clubhouses and entry amenities for residential homebuilders. Coordinated between the owner, Architect, Engineers, Interior Designer and Sub-contractors to control cost, keep schedule to deliver the projects on time and on budget. Overall construction cost of the projects vary from $500,000 to $6,000,000.
Project Manager Carlson Harris General Contractors 2016 - 2018
Directed and supervised the exterior demolition and remodeling of a 6000 square foot residence in the Park Shore Community in Naples, Florida. Coordinated between the Homeowner, Architect, Engineers, and Sub-contractors to meet and satisfy the needs and requirements of the homeowners. Overall construction cost of the project was approximately $2 million.
Owner - President Alpha Omega of Fl. LLC. 2008 - 2015
Certified General contractor for the following, Orange Tree waste water pump building expansion, construction cost of $2 million and La Roca Christian Church construction cost of 1.5 million. Various commercial and private residences, remodeling projects, ranging from $150,000 to $750,000.
Project Manager WBDC, Inc. (General Contractor) 2005 - 2007
Supervised the construction of an 8000 square foot residence in the Port Royal Community in Naples, Florida. Coordinated between the Homeowner, Architect, Engineers, and Sub-contractors to meet and satisfy the needs and requirements of the homeowners. Overall construction cost of the project was approximately $9 million.
Project Manager Orange Tree and Associates 2002 - 2005
Oversaw the land development for the housing project and installed a reclaim water pump distribution station for the Valencia Golf and Country Club community in Naples, Florida, construction cost of $1 million. Directed the expansion of the water distribution and filtration system at the Orange Tree Water Treatment Plant to double its capacity. Overall construction cost of the water plant expansion was $5 million.
Directed and supervised the remodeling of the owner’s personal residences at Quail West and the Montenero at Pelican Bay, construction cost of $250,000 and $500,000.
Contracts Manager GL Homes of Florida 1998 - 2002
Director of Purchasing for the Luxury Home Division, for developments in Broward, Collier, and West Palm Beach counties. Participated in Establishing a Change Order request process for all of the pre-determined options that were available for selection. The house sizes range from 3000 to 5000 square foot, in the communities of Long Lake Estates, Long Lake Ranches, Saturnia, Saturnia Falls and Saturnia Lakes. Prices of these homes ranged from $400,000 to $1million.
Assistant Project Manager Finger Construction 1995 - 1998
Assisted in directing the construction of over 880 apartment rental units in Broward and Dade Counties. Spearheaded and re-established a good relationship with the Building Departments by eliminating the Stop Work Orders that had been a problem before joining this Company. The apartment complex of Turtle Run consisted of twenty (20), 3 story buildings and a clubhouse in the city of Coral Springs. The apartment complex of The Villages on the Bay consisted of ten (10) buildings of 3 story, 4 story and 5 story buildings. The complex also included a clubhouse and a three (3) story parking garage. Overall construction costs on the projects were $25 million and $35 million.
Contracts Manager Centex Homes S.F.D. 1990 - 1995
Director of Purchasing for Centex Homes, Broward County Division. Directed Contract Negotiations with Subcontractors and Manufacturers to secure rebates and model home discounts. Assisted in Quality Control and customer walk through inspections for all of the construction sites. The Division constructed between 250 and 400 homes a year.
Estimator \ Purchasing F.P.A. Boca Golf & Tennis 1989 - 1990
Responsible for quantity take-offs and purchasing materials for the construction of the multi-family unit dwellings. Assisted in the construction scheduling, site inspections, safety inspections and quality control walk through. Project consisted of 10 multi-family units with each unit consisting of 5 court yard homes.
Estimator Lennar Corporation 1987 - 1989
Responsible for unit cost estimates, material take-offs, scope of work, preparation of contracts, value engineering of plans and maintenance of plan changes.
