ResCare Community Living / Business Manager
2023 – Present (brief leave in 2023)
Performing and/or managing all functions pertaining to an agency with two regional office locations and 20 community-based care homes. Reporting to the Executive Director of our agency my staff and I support a team including the QAM, Nurses, Program Managers, Area Supervisors, and Residential Managers. Our work involves duties such as fleet management, vendor and client contract management, fiscal responsibilities, including resident funds management and purchase card operations, and auditing compliance to P&P. We are part of the process of census-based billing, agency wide payroll, and light HR duties to meet our client and teams needs. My role is primarily self-managed.
Lendmark Financial / Loan Consultant II
Sept 2022 – July 2023
Completed personal loans for various purpose to include auto dealers. Performed intake, reviewed credit history, and verify DTI/PTI to qualify applicants. Complete processing and closing of approved loans; counseled those not qualified. All staff was responsible for collections.
Genesis Healthcare / Various roles over 17 years.
Divesture in 2021 led to restructuring leading to of our corporate team losing their jobs.
Regional Manager: June 2015 – Jan 2022
Assigned a compliment of business office teams across six states from 8 to 16 centers: both onsite and 100% remotely.
Special assignments by my Regional Director as needed including marketing presentations at hospitals and our regions marketing & ops team. As well as training for best outcomes in new hire performance of other REMS team members.
Trained new hires on policy and procedure pertaining to financial eligibility as outlines by state and federal regs (MD, WV, VA, NC, DE states and the District of Columbia). Continued auditing compliance assisting to cover vacancies as needed.
Audited up to five years of financial records of all applicants for my regional assignment, with focus on eligibility requirements or resolution of barriers to such.
RCM via aging management for all centers in my assignment.
Relationship building with client, client representatives, and state staff to assure smooth transitions from private pay to preferred insurers.

Performed duties to manage the business functions of a 124-bed facility and outpatient therapy department.
