Prepared for the State of Connecticut, DPW, Seaside Regional Center, and Waterford, CT, a multi-building property on a waterfront site required extremely detailed review of lease terms of its clients due to the nature of the services provided and being initially the first privatized property of the state portfolio.

Prepared monthly detailed financials for each property, including narratives of budget variances and planned capitalization programs.

Reports also discussed significant events at each property, planned work schedules and meeting summaries with tenants.

Supervised and scheduled maintenance staff and vendors, competitive bidding of preventative maintenance contracts and issuing contracts, budgeting report for new fiscal year and preparation of Facilities Guides for each property.

Accomplishment: Orchestrated the immediate removal of DNR patients from a state facility during the middle of the night. The Waterford DMR was struck by lightning that completely destroyed the onsite generator for the 1000 bed facility. Engaged fire department, ambulance service and local organizations, in order to relocate patients without the loss of lives. The facility was brought back online within a 4-day period by organizing and searching for a special replacement generator that needed to be air delivered.
