Plan, design, and oversee construction of transmission lines for power evacuation from wind turbines to pooling substations. Review and approve engineering drawings, sag-tension charts, tower schedules, and stringing plans.

Supervise foundation, erection, stringing, and earthing activities ensuring compliance with safety & quality standards. Ensure right-of-way (ROW) clearances, statutory approvals, and environmental compliance. Conduct inspections and testing of transmission line materials (conductors, insulators, hardware).

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and QA/QC teams to close NCRs and punch points. Perform line charging readiness checks and support commissioning activities.

Oversee installation of transformers, VCBs, CT/PTs, isolators, surge arrestors, and busbar systems. Ensure proper cable laying, termination, and control wiring as per approved drawings. Supervise installation of SCADA/communication systems for real-time monitoring. Conduct pre-commissioning tests: insulation resistance, ratio tests, SFRA, TTR, contact resistance, relay testing. Monitor oil filtration, earthing system, and fire protection systems.

Conduct joint inspections with QA/QC and client representatives.

Ensure compliance with safety standards (work-at-height, electrical isolation, PTW).
