Performed structural hardening analysis of a 150,000 sq. ft. building built in 1969 and 90,000 sq. ft. building built in 1989 by hand and through RAM structural system to update to modern day and extreme hurricane wind loads. Modeled and created structural plans and details for multiple buildings including a 50,000 sq. ft. Minor Class A baseball stadium.
Performed forensic engineering of damaged buildings to analyze the structural integrity of said structure as well as to analyze the causes of existing conditions. Developed spreadsheet in MS Excel to calculate Axial wind loads of structure and concrete based off ASCE 7-10, ACI 318, AISC and IBC 2009. Performed structural design and analysis of steel and concrete structure using governing codes and methods such as LRFD, ACI 318, AISC, ASCE 7-10 based on standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experiences. Types of structural components include, but are not limited to roof elements, shear walls and retaining walls, pile caps, grade beams, beams, columns, and connections. Performed inspection of multiple million dollar projects and performed multiple construction administrative tasks as Request for Information (RFI), project submittals, shop drawing reviews and preparation of contract documents. Structural design analysis of multiple 5+ story apartment complexes including post tension concrete slab design.
